JP · Open Bite Appliance
Designed for selected childhood anterior open-bite cases. An open anterior region and elastic posterior design leave space for vertical adjustment of the anterior teeth and support coordination of the dentition and occlusion.
Design & structure
The anterior canine-to-canine region has an open design. Elastic openings on the posterior occlusal surfaces and a flexible body provide resilient support, together with guidance for the upper and lower dentitions.
Clinical use & follow-up
Mandibular adjustment directions must be assessed separately in protrusive and anterior-crossbite presentations. Appliance selection, wear and follow-up are determined by the treating clinician.
