For posterior occlusal discrepancies, functional mandibular shifts and selected scissor-bite presentations. Posterior guidance and functional coordination assist improvement of bilateral occlusal relationships.
Design & structure
Posterior guiding grooves and upper and lower posterior lingual ridges work together to guide tooth seating and occlusal contact, with attention to the posterior bite path and coordination of the dental midlines.
Clinical use & follow-up
At follow-up, assess the molar relationships, bilateral occlusal contacts and dental midlines. The treatment plan and wear schedule follow the clinician’s assessment.
